Dita Von Teese.
She is a big icon for me as shes not just about appealing to men but to inspire and teach women how to be body confident. I love her stand out style and presence. she proves that having black hair a pale skin can still be a striking and sexy look for women to be inspired by and men to drool over. Ditas style when not performer also in cases the fact that wearing less and showing lots of skin isn't always sexy. She proves that dressing classy/sexy can work very well.
Courtney Love.
When Courtney Love gets it right she is a knock out. she embodies the grunge look very well. By driving away from that pretty typical girly look she proves that teaming a pretty dress with boots and messy hair and a red lip can be very cool. I find the grunge look very cool and appealing for me personally and love the makeup styles.
Betty Page.

Elizabeth Taylor.
With her dark hair and iconic makeup its a obvious choice that Elizabeth Taylor is a icon for me. For these women provide me proof that you don't have to be blonde and tanned to be beautiful, she was one of the most beautiful women in the world and lived life and love to the fullest even though having medical issues which I feel is inspiring.
Cat Von D.
I love her cool personality and her over all look. I respect that she has made a name for herself with her art and skill in a job where tattooing is very much a make dominated world. I'm a big fan of tattoos and hope to continue getting more tattoos but maybe not as much as her! I love her Gothic/alternative style and her makeup choices. I love her dark makeup but also like how she plays with makeup by applying a different colour eyeshadow on each lid. It shows that she doesn't take herself too seriously.
Christina Hendricks.
